An old Perahu Kerbau / Buffalo Vessel of the Tora-Tora people from Toraja Sulawesi, the hollow storage carved from genuine domestic buffalo horn whereas the head, base and stopper are carved from wood. For jewelry and medicine storage. Ears detachable. More beautiful in real life. Circa 1970.

Batak is a collective term used to identify a number of ethnic groups found in the highlands of North Sumatra Indonesia.
