In this quilts from an american homefront book, Rosemary Youngs follows up on her successful Civil War quilt titles with another era that defined our nation: World War II. Using letters, postcards, and photos from the homefront during that period, Rosemary pieces together a patchwork view of that era in which our nation--and ourselves--were re-forged. There will be 121 + traditional blocks (a good number for a block-treasury book). Rosemary will also provide instruction for incorporating the blocks into a queen- or king-sized sampler quilts, though the traditional patterns could be easily used in any layout.
