"OLD MAID'S RAMBLE", a sturdy and utilitarian pieced quilt, circa 1910, in a seldom seen pattern made with handsome shirting fabrics and handsewn with care at 7"-8" per inch, the straight parallel line quilting is randomly done impressively between 3/8" and 1" apart,the original blue binding is machine sewn and has a latter binding of printed fabric attached to it probably about 1970, the entire quilt is well preserved with only one small professional repair on the reverse side, professionally washed, 66" X 79".
