"Country Garden" is the name given this pieced quilt pattern by the Stearns and Foster Co. which sold bedding and also sold quilt patterns to housewives during the 1920's-1930's. This is a fine example of a depression era "kit quilt" in a rare design with an Art Deco influence, hand sewn and very finely quilted with straight and diagonal lines at a remarkable 10-11 stitches per inch, circa 1930, 78"x 88", all cotton, professionally washed and in excellent original condition. For a similar example see TWENTIETH CENTURY QUILTS by Thomas K. Woodard. We accept time payments and quantity discounts. ** WE GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF OUR MERCHANDISE AS REPRESENTED.
