A wonderful tortiseshell colored plastic, I think it is lucite,boxed base purse with a clear, faceted lid. The lid is hinged and it has picnic basket style handles, aprox. 15'. The clasp is still in tact and working. The clear lid has a molded pattern that looks like cross cuts. The only flaw on this purse is on one end where someone used something shapr and/or metalic to try and scratch what appears to be a sticky back tag. The scratches are not very deep, but was unable to take them out with semi-chrome. There are a few other minor surface scuffs. Overall, a wonderful purse. It measures aprox. 8 1/2'X4 3/4'X4 1/2'.
