I called this a Flapper purse because this style was popular in the 1920's. The bottom of the purse is actually intact, but I didn't notice that the photo shows some fringe underneath the bag. There's no handle and only a ring to have one attached, so I have no idea what kind of chain/? was on it originally. The top has a very simple decoration resembling a a twist. The fault with this bag is that below each end of the handle there is an opening in the mesh, but it could be mended. The mesh is still well attached to the frame. This will make a nice addition to your collection (history) of mesh bags.
