This very stylized ART DECO Sterling Flatware set is superb in quality, weight and hand craftmanship. Designed by renown French silversmith, Jean Puiforcat, in the early 1900's, this place setting consists of five pieces. 7 7/8" Dinner Fork, 6 3/4" Salad or Dessert Fork, 5 1/2" Teaspoon, 6 7/8" Dessert Spoon and a 9" Dinner Knife. Excluding the knife, the (2) forks and (2) spoons weigh 9.3 troy oz. There are (9) complete place settings of five pieces sold as a set, (one) set is missing the dessert spoon. All pieces are in good condition, some never used with appropriate hallmarks indicating 950 sterling. This is sold as a set, not as individual place settings.
