Vintage / antique hand-crafted, unglazed terra cotta pitcher, measuring about 6 1/2 inches high. This primitive item has a very appealing profile which appears hand-shaped, and has a hand-applied handle. The pitcher is decorated with incised straight and wavy lines around the upper middle area, producing an ornamental band effect. The interior and bottom of the pitcher have a great deal of lime deposit. The exterior may or may not have been glazed at one time. The piece has no chips or cracks.
