Primitive Diamond-Shaped Architectural Piece

Unavailable
Old primitive wooden diamond-shaped architectural piece, with great whirligig cut-outs. The origin of this piece is unknown; it is one of a pair purchased at an estate sale. It would make a great wall hanging, either vertically or horizontally. This piece measures approximately 26.25 inches by 20.25 inches, is 2.25 inches deep, and weighs about 5.5 pounds. It consists of a 1.375 inch thick frame around the whirligig cut-outs; it is backed by a .75 inch slab of wood. The piece is in good condition. There is a small piece of the whirligig pattern missing (looks like a knothole), cracks across two of the whirligig's "arms", and the wood back is partially split. It is still a sturdy piece. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging / handling for this substantial piece will be $20 to $40, depending upon the zipcode of the buyer.
