PRICE REDUCED! It is exceptionally rare to find a PAIR of cranberry anything, especially threaded glass bowls that could double as match strikers! Original sterling rim is clearly hallmarked Birmingham 1916. See the 3rd photo for close up of the hallmark - it also shows a couple nibbles right at the rim that are not that evident unless under great magnification as in this photo. PRICED INDIVIDUALLY at $795 each. As the name suggests, loose matches would be stored inside, and then individually struck across the threaded glass ribs on the exterior producing friction and thus, flame.
