This necklace of rosy red beads is very pretty - also unusual. They are a little translucent, as light does come through the beads. These beads do not test as bakelite, but are not as crisp as lucite, and not as fragile as celluloid. They definitely are not today's plastic. 16" long. The largest bead is 5/8" diam. Circa 1930s.
