This stamp would probably have been mounted on a block of wood then inked and used.....so the writing is backwards, all metal, measures approximately 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches.....in GREAT conditionI am an antique junkie. I do a lot of traveling attending local auctions and estate sales, particulary in my home state and while I try to give as best description as possible when listing items, bear in mind I am not an expert. That what you see is how it is presented to me. I do not go out of my way to clean up the items; I leave that up to you.
