Porcelain Jewelled Gilded Handled Vase

This lovely nineteenth century French vase features gilded applied handles, an applied panel with transfer decoration depicting a girl preparing a snack for her pet dog and cat, gilding and jewelled turquoise decoration. Inscription on underside reads "tapa a mamma ed frere" which we believe translates to a "snack for momma and brother". Measures 10.5" high, 6.5" wide and 3.75" deep. Very good condition, with no visible cracks or chips. This item comes from a family who have been collecting European porcelain for four generations.
