Porcelain Group of Napoleon Returning from Russia

This is a beautiful high quality hand painted porcelain group of Emperor’s Napoleon Bonaparte and French Marshall Ney retreat from Moscow in Russian Troika sleigh. This extraordinarily lovely, highly detailed and colorful group was made by a porcelain company founded in 1834 in Scheibe-Alsbach, Thuringia, Germany.  Marked on the base in blue with”S” and “Germany”.  The "S" mark with the word "Germany" has been used by the company since 1905, what dates the piece to 20 century. Also, the name of the artist is impressed into the base:  “F. Zich ". The paint is vivid as the day it was applied and the porcelain is in excellent condition. Measurements are; 15 inches long (38 cm), 7 ½ inches high(19 cm) and 5 ½ in wide (14cm).
