Early 20 century, bronze plaque of the Polish writer Stefan Zeromski (1864-1925) signed by Jozef Aumiller with the stamp on the back of the foundry Mennica Panstwowa. The edges are straight, even if it does not appears so in the image, because the photos were taken at an angle. Size: 2 ½ inches (8.4 cm) x 3 ½ inches (9.3 cm). Józef (Joseph) Aumiller (1892-1963)-sculpturer and engraver. Between 1925-39 art director of the Polish foundry Mennica Panstwowa. His style reflects influences of the French artist since frequently he visited Paris before WWII. He was the author of the most projects-portrait plaques done in the foundry Mennica Panstwowa.
