Never washed-hand pieced, hand appliqued, hand quilted, quality in this 1920's quilt is superb! Deep or rosy pink, set in a 'drunkard's pattern" (and you can see where this pattern gets its name), both the pink and cream fabrics are a wonderful soft cotton with a sheen, probably the best you could buy in that time. The size of this quilt is 72 inches wide x 94 inches long, a very ample size for that era. The lining is cream colored and has a very thin filler. This Southern Indiana quilt shows the workmanship that comes out of our area where quilt making is concerned. T
