A very large pillow sham measuring 18" high x 22"wide plus a 4 inch ruffle all around. It is made of all linen, has the same linen back with tiny pearl buttons and buttonholes on the open end at the back of the sham. The center design is fantastic workmanship-flowers and thistles in colors of olive green, purple, lavender, gold and pale pink. Many of the designs are of solid embroidery. The ruffle is edged in gold hem-stitch type embroidery. This sham would also be beautiful framed for the center of the sham is a work of art. It is hard to find hand-sewn items such as this sham! It has been laundered and lightly starched, as our sweet little Down Syndrome grand-daughter would say "It's all clean!"
