This is a very nice Phillips medium size tip, right angle screwdriver from the 1930's era. It is marked on the handle ferrule, "PHILLIPS PAT. 2046840 PAT. 2046887 MADE IN U.S.A.". It is in good working condition with a good solid hardwood handle that has some wear noted, but is well attached, solid, and clean. The tip has some minimal wear, and is in useable condition. The screwdriver is 9.5" long overall, and the tip leg is 2.5" long from the center of the main shaft. Most likely a special application screwdriver as we have not seen one before, and it appears to be factory original, not simply bent in an owner's shop. A rare Phillips patented screwdriver from before WWII!
