Philadelphia Whiskey Betsy Ross 1946 Ad. This color January 26, ad states That the flag of the thirteen United States be Thirteen stripes, alternate red and white, that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation. Resolved by Congress June 14, 1777. Picture by S. Greco shows General Washington Arriving at home of Mistress Betsy Ross, Philadelphia.
