Petrified Stump No. Dakota Postcard. This is a nice color, linen. Postcard of a Balanced Petrified Stump in Cedar Canyon, North Dakota Badlands. On the back it reads, This stump, which at the present rate of erosion, has consumed thousands of years in its vertical descent of some twelve feet, the butte at the left slowly but surely, receding from constant wear of the elements.
