PETITE English Mahogany Barley Twist Chair

Beautiful Cabriole Legs, Carved Upper, SOLID !

Direct from England, this listing is for a beautiful little Victorian child’s (or large doll) chair..solid mahogany with elegant cabriole legs, and turned finials atop barley twist posts..such a rare treasure indeed!!  I attend literally hundreds of European container sales each year and seldom find a child’s chair such as this!!!

Dainty Measurements:

32 ½”H x 15 ½” x 15”

All of my items are personally selected from European container shipments.  I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality.

Condition:

The chair is structurally sound, sturdy, and visually appealing, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. T is a nick in the center back, probably w the carved splat had a slight peakit doesn’t harm the structure whatsoever, and I didn’t notice it until closely inspecting the chair (see photos)..Although a charming pattern, the upholstery is quite worn and faded from years of use.  It is old, but not the original, as tiny upholstery nail holes can be seen w others went before it!
