This is a reader for children from 1913. It is in fair condition with worn covers and spine and a difficult to see front cover illustration--all are evidence of a book that was lovingly used a lot over the years. There are a few torn pages and one or two pages with a small amount of writing. In spite of this, the inside of this book has great stories for a beginning reader with good illustrations. The book is charming and would be a great way to introduce reading skills to a youngster.
