Pendleton wool Chief's wearing blanket, came from the Navajo reservation in Kayenta, Arizona, called Black Mountain Blankets, the darker colored side is called the male side, and the paler colored side is the female side. The Navajo tribe there commissioned these from Pendleton Mills, and are still doing so, however the blankets made for today are not woven in the USA. This particular blanket/robe was used in the Zuni Indian Puelblo, in New Mexico. Measures 78 inches long by 68 inches wide. In near mint condition, no holes, no stains, lovely colors. extremely well taken care of.   Thanks for shopping in the Land of the Zuni!
