2" X 1.3/4" steel engraving of "La Lavinia" c1950. Original painting by Titian (1488/1490 to 1576)Marked at the bottom of the integral frame. "TIZIAN LAVINIA" (sic) Lavinia was his daughter who took over the running of his household when her aunt died her mother having died while giving birth to her. The back of this piece has heavy enamel paint on it as if it were secured to something else.
