This is a large pendant in honor of the steel hulled windjammer Preussen - in Excellent condition. The Preussen was the largest 5 mast ships ever built with an overall length of 482 feet and displacement of 8100 metric tons. The ships maiden voyage occurred July, 31 - 1902 and she stayed in service until she hit rocks and was stranded near Dover on November 6, 1910. This beautiful piece measures 3 ½ wide by 3 ½ high and weighs in at a hefty 6 ounces. The back of the pendant is stamped with a small HH.
