Peck, Stow, & Wilcox Ratchet Brace 10 inch Swing No. 7010

$58.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a very nice, clean, late 1800's patented ratchet hand brace, and it has a 10" swing. It is marked "NO. 7010 P.S. & W. CO. WARRANTED" inside a circular logo. The ratchet system is controlled by the knurled ring next to the ratchet system housing. It can be locked in the middle setting or set of clockwise, or counter-clockwise direction. The chuck is in good condition with nice heavy duty, spring loaded jaw inserts, in good condition, the knurled part of the chuck or the chuck sleeve is steel with very little wear, very good working ratchet system as well. The head turns smoothly, capped with a very nice rosewood handle, and the crank handle matches it very well in condition and appearance. The head handle is ball bearing type, spins very freely even under load pressure. The condition is very good overall, with only minor wear, a few scratches or dings on the steel, and on the rosewood handles. In really good working condition overall. A quality made brace, still in great shape, nice looking too!
