Paul Follot Art Deco Living Room Suite Loveseat & Chairs

Unavailable

Included in this parlor suite attributed to Paul Follot (1877-1941) are a loveseat and two matching armchairs. Upholstery was replaced approximately five years ago, and has a neutral cream color and luxurious nap. The set has received very little use by our client, and thus the condition of the upholstery is excellent, with no stains, tears or visible wear. Condition of the frames are also very good. As is common with bentwood pieces of this type, there are stress cracks in two locations on the crestrail of each seat as seen in our images. Finish is not original. Each is structurally sound with no need for restoration or repair. Sofa measures 49" wide, 32.75" high, and 26" deep (124.5, 83.2, and 66 cm). Chairs each measure 27" wide, 32.75" high, and 26" deep (68.6, 83.2, and 66 cm). All have a seat height of 18.5" (47 cm). The set was purchased approximately ten years ago at the prestigious Macklowe Gallery of 667 Park Avenue in Manhattan. Additional images forwarded upon request. dcardile
