French Mantle Clock

Unavailable

Paris Mantle Clock made of green porcelain with gilt highlights and a bronze base. This is an exquisite example of this type of clock. The case is Neo Classical with a Greco-Roman theme, with gilt Griffins & Rams' heads in the upper and lower corners. The movement was made by Japy Freres a famous clock maker from Beaucourt France.

The over all condition is excellent. There are a few minor (very old) chips in the porcelain at the base above the bronze trim.

Prior to sale the works will be cleaned.
