This lovely Pair of American Mahogany Side Tables from Mersman Tables, circa 1940, will certainly add a touch of elegance to any setting. The tops have a raised decorative border and an inlaid design across the front skirts. Straight- lined tapered legs support the tables while decorative carvings add just the right finishing touch to the top of the two front legs. The tables have the original stamped Mersman Tables label, which includes the style number, 7140. Both have been professionally restored and measure, 24.00" H X 26.00" W X 14.50'' D. The pieces hail from Mersman Tables; founded by J. B. Mersman around 1876 in Ottoville, OH. In 1900 J.B. moved the company to Celina, OH when he was offered $7500 from the City of Celina with the agreement that he would employ twenty- five people six months of the year for two years.
