Very large stunning oval papier mache French 19th century tray with hand painted floral sprays surrounding the deep curved down turned lip in gilt and white. Very high quality.The size lends itself to becoming a side table or coffee table with the addition of a black stand. Our restoration department has created a black wooden wall rack, A frame style,to support the piece safely if displayed on the wall which is included. All that shows from the front are the two tiny feet located at the bottom of the tray in main photo. There has been a very small professional repair many years prior to the back edge of a portion of the lip only visible on the back of the tray and minute,otherwise in excellent condition. Measures 29.5L X 24W X 1H.
