Pansy oil painting early 1900's painted on wood with beveled 1 inch bands in antique gold creating the frame. The wood is bowed out in the center and was created this way, probably a drawer front at one time. The talented artist painted so that the scene can be interrupted in several ways,as pansies planted beneath large trees with either sun or moon light filtering through on the right. Gorgeous purples, yellows and creams were used in the flowers. Minor wear to the outer edges of the wood with one speck of deep purple missing from one petal, otherwise excellent condition. Wire hanger on back. Measures 14H X 8L X 3/8 inch thick.
