Palatial English antique bronze and crystal chandelier. This chandelier was originally acquired from the British government in the 50's. It hung in one of Britain's government buildings from the time it was made around 1880 until around 1950. It has been hanging in an estate in Florida for the last 20 years and prior to that it was a personal piece of the dealer who originally acquired it. This monumental chandelier was not electrified originally (just candles), but the owner in Florida had it wired and added the interior lighting within the bottom section. It is composed of superb quality dore bronze with 2 tiers of beaded crystal basket swags. Note: 48 upper arms are still not electrified but can be, at the buyer's discretion. 87h x 43w" Definitely a rare and important fixture that you will not find anywhere else! Please view all images to get a better idea of the quality; Serious inquiries welcome.
