This lovely, matching pair of walnut twin size beds has other companion bedroom pieces which match them. The beds have a large oval inlaid center panel with a fancy carved crest displaying a classical urn, garlands and scrolling leaves. Notice the unusual shapely, low footboard with multiple recessed panels and carved crest. The beds rest on carved and turned legs. Look very closely and you will see that the crest and applied carvings are subtly accented in gold and the inside edges of the recessed panels are highlighted in a dark green. These highlights are original and a very subtle distinction. The side rails are original and when the bed is set up, they are extremely sturdy and stout. The frames will accommodate standard sized twin mattresses & box springs. Their finish is original and in excellent condition.
