Pair Tall Antique French Paris Porcelain Neoclassical Vases

Unavailable

This pair of very tall porcelain vases date from the nineteenth century and are likely from Paris.  Each features hand-painted figural scenes depicting females and cherubs in neoclassical settings on salmon colored ground. Gilding decorates the handles, base and rim.  They were drilled and mounted, most likely for use as table lampes, sometime in the early twentieth century, and mounting clay residue remains on the underside of one vase.  Each is in very good condition.  Each measures:  23 x 11 x 9 in (58.4 x 27.9 x 22.9 cm).
