This French style, matching pair of end tables was made by the highly regarded John Widdicomb Co. of Grand Rapids, MI. These stands are exceptionally well made and quite heavy. Their main wood is mahogany and the secondary or interior wood is oak. Each has 2 serpentine shaped drawers with ebonized line inlay and matched flame mahogany fronts. The dovetailed drawers even have dust covers between them – genuine sign of quality. The drawers have their original cast brass pulls. Notice the delicate wooden gallery along the top of the stands and the finely carved bow with flowers cascading on the front corners. The table rests on tall, slender legs. Their finish is original and in excellent condition.
