Our pair of tremendous, large silvered bronze sconces in the neoclassical style date from the late 19th to early 20th century, and have modern sockets but are in need of new wiring. They feature four candle arms in scrolling shapes with dolphin heads. 27 in tall and 17 in wide. There is considerable rubbing wear to the silver gilt finish, tarnish, surface grime in crevices, and bends to some of the candle arms.
