Beautiful and very decorative pair of hollow ware candlesticks / candelabra made by Norblin & Co. a Polish silversmith active in Warsaw since the 1850's. One is marked on the base Norblin & Co, Galw., Warsawa" inside an oval shape (which indicates a pre 1915 year of manufacture) the other has the Norlin & co. mark in a straight line. Both are numbered 169. The lettering "GALW" means "GALWANIZACJA" (in Polish) or "GALVANISATION" (in English). In good used condition, with wear to plate, a bit wobbly at the base and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Measurements: 12"(30 cm) tall by 4.5" (11.5 cm) wide at the base approximately.
