Pair of Victorian era Vulcanite Earrings C. 1880 American Dark brown Vulcanite tear-drop earrings. Vulcanite is a certain type of rubber which has been treated with both heat and sulphur. Vulcanite was used extensively for jewelry during the 19th Century in both America and Europe. This pair has carved flowers on each earring with a Greek Key border. Gold plated wires are new.
