Pair of Tall French Jaget & Pinon Porcelain Vases

Included here is a matching pair of tall baluster vases with gilded decoration by Jaget et Pinon of Tours, France, circa 1901-1910. Each measures 22" tall, 8.5" wide and 8" deep and each weighs an estimated 7-9 lbs. Each carries the impressed "JP" hallmark with castle design. They feature applied, gilded handles with leaf and scrolling designs, a front medallion featuring torch and arrow motif, decorated necks, and a band decorating the shoulder with swan, floral and urn motifs. Each is in excellent condition. There is some noticeable wear to the gilded decoration, consistent with age, and flea bite chips from the edge of undersides, consistent with age.
