Pair of Japanese Bronze Mounted Earthenware Satsuma Vases

These extraordinary Satsuma vases feature dore bronze mounts and figural lids, and are believed to date from the late nineteenth century. Condition of each is excellent, with no visible cracks, losses or restorations. Each measures 20.7" tall and 7.5" across (52.7 cm and 19.1 cm). Additional images forwarded upon request.
