Pair of Bronze Mounted French Louis XV Style Vitrines
Unavailable
Included here is a matching pair of French Louis XV style vitrines dating from circa 1900. They are crafted from mahogany with rouge marble tops, and feature extensive bronze mounts, parquetry inlay and Vernis Martin painted decoration. They measure approximately 72" tall, 28" wide and 16" deep. They exhibit a level of craftsmanship comparable to the works of Linke and Sormani. We have removed a couple bronze mounts for inspection, but have not found any hallmarks to indicate the maker. Thse items reside in our client's gallery in midtown Manhattan (New York City) and may be seen by appointment. Additional images forwarded upon request.
