Pair of Antique German Gilded Silver Birds

Unavailable
Included here are two antique gilt silver birds with moveable wings, dating from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. The taller bird is marked "GERMANY" with passant lion in hexagonal shaped medallion, "TR" in rectangle, and crown. This figurine measures 11.75" long, 7.75" tall, 3" deep, and 5" deep with wings spread (29.8 cm by 19.7 cm by 7.7 cm, and 12.7 cm with wings spread). The other bird (pheasant) carries a passant lion, crown of similar style to the other bird, and script letter "L". It measures 17" long, 5.75" tall, 3.25" deep and 7.75" deep with wings spread (43.2 cm by 14.6 cm by 8.3 cm and 19.7 cm with wings spread). Condition of both is excellent. There are no signs or restoration or refinishing and hinges on both sets of wings work fine. Additional images forwarded upon request.
