Please Take 50% Off the featured price. This is an exquisite and graceful pair of side chairs made from solid walnut around the middle part of the 19th century. Each with scrolled curved seatback adorably highlighted with floral fabric standing above the serpentine shaped seat supported by cabriole legs. Caning is in original condition and has been restored at some point on one of the chairs. Such type of chairs was usually not built to be seated on and instead was used in bedroom as clothes hanger. Circa date 1860. Dimensions: 35”(height) x 18”(seat height) x 18 ¼”(wide) x 17”(depth)
