Pair Neoclassical Bronze Torch Motif Sconces

Unavailable

Included here are a matching pair of patinated bronze electrified sconces in the French Empire style, dates from the very late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Each measures 25.5" tall, 14" wide and 6" deep. Each weighs approximately 11 lbs. Their neoclassical form depicts a flaming torch, with anthemions, rosettes and other classical motifs. We have found no hallmarks, but the quality of the design and casting suggest they were possibly made by E.F. Caldwell. Each is electrified for the European standard. We will be glad to replace the sockets for the U.S. standard for an additional cost.
