A pair of antique single-arm sconces, dating from the 1920's. These brass sconces feature an arch crowned by scrolling foliage in red and green original polychrome finish. The center of each backplate has four curved volutes with bellflowers. The S-shaped sconce arms are ribbed, and extend out to support bobeches with green polychrome-tipped leaves. The bottom of each backplate features beautiful floral and foliate details. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 4-1/8" wide, 10" tall and projects 6-3/8" from the wall.
