Pair French Restauration Ormolu and Patinated Bronze Candelabra Lamps

Unavailable

This pair of figural candelabra depicting cherubs feature the highest level of craftsmanship, including finely detailed engine turned decoration on the socles. Believed to date from the second quarter of the nineteenth century. The pair were electrified in the early twentieth century and remnants of their 1920s era wiring still remain. (We will be happy to rewire as needed at no cost prior to shipment.) Condition is excellent. Original patina is intact. There is noticeable wear to the gilded finish at the base, particularly near the switches. These lamps will compliment any neoclassical decor, including French Louis XV, Louis XVI, English Regency ( Georgian ) or American Federal. Dimensions: 23.7" H X 7" W X 4" D (60.3 cm H X 17.8 cm W X 10.2 cm D).  Additional images forwarded upon request.
