Pair French Art Nouveau Gilt and Bronze Figural Table Lamps After Joaquin Angles

This pair of Art Nouveau figural table lamps after model by Joaquin Angles (Spanish, active 1885-1905) are crafted from partial gilt metal and bronze, feature the form of an unfurled leaf flanked by nude females and rest upon circular green marble bases.  They each have five lights and measure 25.75 inches tall.  According to Drouot, the artist was born in Spain in 1865 and participated in the Paris Salon beginning in 1890.  He is believed to have passed in 1927.  Wiring is in need of replacement, but we will be glad to install for a modest fee.  Our price is firm.
