Pair of Bohemian Cut to Green Glass Large Table Lamps with Crystal Prisms
A striking pair of vintage lamps made of the legendary Czech Bohemian glass. White and green glass with golden contouring, hand painted flower patterns, and large crystal prisms. A rare catch for collectors of Bohemian glass!
The lamps' design suggests that they were made in the early 1940s. The combination of white opaque and emerald green glass, with gold trimming throughout, is truly amazing. The elegantly painted vibrant blue and pink flowers add to the overall presentation of the lamps as standout pieces. Despite their age, the lamps are in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or paint loss.
Each lamp has 12 large crystal prisms. Please note that one prism on one of the lamps is slightly shorter than the rest - this might be due to their handmade nature, as the lamps with prisms were brought from Europe in this exact condition. The prisms have an intricate angular cut which beautifully reflects both natural and artificial light.
No harps or shades. The wiring is older but in working condition.
