Pair Antique Pate-sur-pate Porcelain Table Lamps

Unavailable

This fabulous pair of antique porcelain lamps feature white pate-sur-pate decorations, including flowers and butterflies on a royal blue ground partially gilt, with original brass pedestal, lamp fittings and newer sockets/wiring.  Each measures 28" tall with lamp harp, and 16" alone without fittings, and 6" across.  Condition of each is very good.  There is oxidation, wear including light scratches and small dents to the bases, and no visible flaws to the porcelain other than light scratches that are consistent with age.  We believe these were produced as vases in the late 19th century, and lamp fittings were added in the early 20th century.  Recently new sockets and wiring were added. Maker is unknown.  Possibly by Minton or Worcester.  We have not removed the hardware for inspection for hallmarks, and are selling the pair "as-is".
