Pair Antique Classical Bronze & Jasperware Sconces

Unavailable
Included here is a pair of antique wall sconces in the style of Robert Adams, crafted from patinated bronze and featuring pale green Jasperware porcelain plaques (attributed to Wedgwood) depicting unique Greco-Roman females in white. The pair is attributed to E.F. Caldwell, but we have not found any hallmarks. Each measures 19.25" tall, 10" wide and 4.5" deep. Each has new sockets and wiring and they are ready for immediate use. The patina is a matte black with gold highlighting the undersides of the candle sockets and surrounding the plaques. These sconces will compliment any classical decor such as French Louis XV, Louis XVI, Empire, English Regency, Georgian or American Federal. These items reside in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment. ( hantiques )
